TDP Supremo to continue despite ailing feet!

The Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu is planning to continue on his massive walkathon, 'Vastunna Meekosam.' As per the initial plans the first phase of the walkathon was to end today (January 26), being the sixth day in Krishna district.

In the morning session, the leader's family visited him at Kanchancherla where he was to start his trekking today. His wife Bhuvaneswari and son Lokesh visited the ailing leader. They tried to persuade the leader to temporarily stop his walkathon. But the leader seems stubborn in his decision to continue. Kudos to the leader in spite of ill health is uncompromising on his commitment.

Noted fitness trainer Dinaz also accompanied the family and briefed him about the precautions to be taken, while walking to avoid pain and further damage.

It may be noted that since the last couple of days, Mr Babu has been taking frequent breaks and walking very slowly. Initially he used to caver approximately 20 kms per day.

The charged up atmosphere seems to have encouraged the leader and he wishes to continue. Earlier to a question about the pain, he answered, 'compared to the pain that people were suffering due to ill-governance, his was nothing.'

Early this morning, Mr Babu had addressed a gathering, on the 64th Republic day and said that TDP would strive for a corruption free governance.  (Wishesh AarKay)
