Chiranjeevi to inspect damaged crops

The union minister of state for tourism, Chiranjeevi has said he would talk to the prime minister about the flood effect in the coastal parts of the state and ensure that better relief would be provided to the victims of floods. It may be noted that Chiranjeevi arrived at Gannavaram airport as a part of his tour to East and West Godavari districts. He was received grandly at the airport by the local leaders.

It may be noted that this is the first time that he is touring Andhra Pradesh as a central minister. Addressing the media, Chiranjeevi has said that cyclone Neelam washed away not just homes and crops but even the happiness of the people at a point of time when people were gearing up for celebrating the festival of lights.
