Actress Hemasree's murder case is taking new twist everyday. After her husband was suspected to be behind the murder of Hemasree, the police even took her long time boy friend Manjunath into the custody and questioned him. The latest news is that Manjunath denied being in a relationship with Hemasree.  Notably, Manjunath earlier released CD to the media, which contained voice of Hemasree. This CD was released before her murder to clear some rumours in the air. This CD made police suspect Manjunath's role behind murder of Hemasree. He even gave the same copy of CD to the police and stressed that the reports by media (alleging that he was Hemasree's long time boy friend) were baseless.

Nonetheless, Manjunath revealed that Hemasree complained to him against their in-laws, who tortured her. Also he said Hemasree faced life threat from her husband. The police, on the other hand, have reportedly nabbed the car driver of Surendra (Hemasree's husband) who went missing after the death of Hemasree. Police even sought the permission of the court to inquire Surendra since his judicial custody would end today.
