Maharathotsavam-a feast to devotees' eyes

The Rathothsavam of  Lord Sri Venkateshwara Swamy was celebrated grandly on the eighth day of the annual Brahmotsavams of Srivaru. A large number of devotees have taken part in the chariot pulling this morning. The devotees were overwhelmed after they witnessed the holy chariot pulling. Also, they competed with each other in pulling the chariot. Notably, the Maharathotsavam is considered as one of the big rituals in Brahmotsavams after Garuda Seva. Keeping in view the same, TTD has made elaborate arrangements.

Tonight, Unjal Seva would be performed on Srivaru after which the Lord would bless the devotees by mounting on Ashwa Vahanam. This vehicle would be pulled in the four madaveedis (the four streets encircling the holy shrine of Tirumala).
