The Andhra Pradesh Service Commission has postponed the Group I mains examinations, which were scheduled to start from tomorrow. The exams would now be conducted from September 17, said APPSC officials. The sources said that this decision was made in the wake of the outcry by several APPSC Group I candidates, who alleged that thousands of students couldn’t clear Group I preliminary examination, which was conducted in May 2012 since there were reportedly some flaws in the key.On the other hand, Group I candidates approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Saturday on the same issue. The candidates moved a lunch motion petition and urged the court to cancel the Group I mains examination.
