Students demanded uniform fee structure for all colleges. They protested at the venues this morning at the counseling centers that are to begin. The state government on Saturday announced a 36-page notification containing five Gos on varying fee structures in different colleges. The colleges were segregated on basis best known to the government. Of the 717 colleges the government issued structures to 645 of them. And to join the top 67 engineering colleges a student will now have to shell out anything between Rs 51,800 to Rs 1.05 lakhs.

Students of the Student Federation of India wings protested against this disparity in education. While the Engineering counseling was going on in the Acharya Nagarjuna University campus in the Guntur district, students fro SFI wing protested and obstructed the proceedings.
