Chapter 2, Revelation 185 of the Qur'an states:
The month of Ramadan is that in which was revealed the Quran; a guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance, and the criterion (of right and wrong). And whosoever of you is present, let him fast the month, and whosoever of you is sick or on a journey, a number of other days. Allah desires for you ease; He desires not hardship for you; and that you should complete the period, and that you should magnify Allah for having guided you, and that perhaps you may be thankful.

Hot of yesterday: MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs finally blames certain overseas militant groups responsible for creating the fake rumor campaigns that reigned in terror in North Eastern people living in other states. The last four days experienced a mass exodus of the Assamese people from various states back to Assam.
Entertainment: Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger marching ahead gloriously at the ticket counter. Should be reaching the Rs 100 Cr mark by the course of the day. A happy eid gift to Sallu Bhai fans from the Big Khan.
Sports: Hyderabad batting legend V V S Laxman, retires from international cricket. And Siana Nehwal gets her hands on a New BW from Sachin Tendulkar. The car was gifted by the Hyderabad Badminton Association, in recognition to the ace player for getting the Bronze in London Olympics 2012.
Tirupati: Devotees flow surges up. Sources say that nearly 31 compartments were filled with thronging devotees to have a glimpse of the Lord. Ordinary darshan shall take nearly 20 hours for the devotees in queue.
Mehndi Scare: Mehndi is a part of the Indian Cultural celebrations. Since yesterday there have been rumormongers saying that Women folks who were getting their hands designed with cone mehndi were getting ill. However few women were admitted in Vijayawada. Mehndi is a cultural ritual adhered by the Muslim women during the Eid. It is noted that a few had been admitted to the hospitals in Vijayawada. However it was claimed that the reactions would have been due to the chemical used in the cone, or it could have been due to old stocks.
