CM comes down heavily on YSRCP

The chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy came down heavily on the statements made by the family member of the former chief minister late YS Rajashekara Reddy. It may be noted that the daughter of late YSR questioned whether Kiran knew of the accident much before the incident took place. Reacting on this, Kiran Kumar said they (Congress) party leaders would have saved YS Rajashekara Reddy in case they had any clue that accident would take place.

The chief minister has said that he was also supposed to accompany chief minister on Rachchabanda programme but due to other works he had to drop in the last minute. Kiran dropping in the last minute gave scope for suspicions. Kiran Kumar also said it was unfortunate that the death of YS Rajashekara Reddy is being used for political benefits.

Making such sensitive statements, which is likely to create public disorder, should not be encouraged. Will Election Commission serve notices on responsible YSR Congress leaders for making these inflammatory statements? A rhetorical question!
