Wooing dissidents is CM’s prime agenda: CPI

The Communist Party of India unit’s state secretary K Narayana on Sunday in Adilabad, said that the Congress internal fighting has gone beyond qualms. Adding, it has become the prime agenda of the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to woo, the dissidents. In this given situation, the CM is failing to focus on development of the state. The leader speaking to the scribes said that the government is more concentrated in solving internal conflicts and failing to address the various problems faced by the common person. He added that Congress has failed in solving the basic problems of the society.

The leader also accused the CM of spending most of his time on pacifying the dissidents. And the rest of the time was spent to settle the political scores with Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President Botsa Satyanarayana. The CPI Chief also took a serious note on the transfer of the officer leading the investigations of the alleged liquor swindle.  He said transferring ACB Additional Director K Srinivasa Reddy was to dilute the investigations into the liquor syndicate fraud and for attempting to shield the corrupt ministers. Instead of the sincere being awarded they were transferred is bad said the leader.

The CPI leaders also launched a tirade against the CM for not responding on the CAG Report that found fault with the government over land allotments under SEZs to industrialists.
