Botsa takes CM to task on attempts to implicate him in liquor scam

The low-lying cold war which bas been brewing between CM Kirankumar reddy and PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana for the last few days has assumed the dimensions of a direct war when Botsa called up the CM from Delhi on Friday and questioned his alleged attempts to implicate him in liquor syndicate cases.

It has come to light that Mr Ganesh, the ACB Circle Inspector at Vijayanagaram has sent a legal notice to his boss Mr Srinivasa Reddy for reportedly abusing him in filthy language for disobeying his directions to file false cases against Botsa Satyanarayana and his family members in liquor syndicate scam.

Botsa suspects Kirankumar was behind the development and called him up over phone from Delhi and sought an explanation. “What do you think of me? Do you want to implicate all ministers in the liquor scam and then rule the state single-handedly? What do you think of yourself?,” he reportedly fired on Kirankumar.

Stunned by the direct anti-rhetoric, Kiran pleaded with him he was not in the know of things and he was no way connected with such incident.

Botsa, who arrived in Delhi early morning on Friday, complained to the party high command about the attempts of CM to implicate him in liquor cases later. Union Minister and in-charge of party affairs in AP Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad asked Botsa to wait with patience till completion of by elections in AP.

“Don’t fight over the issue now ahead of the by polls in June,” Azad told him. (J)
