The CBI teams, which had arrived in Hyderabad from Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore and Visakhapatnam, launched second round of raids this morning on the houses and premises of the accused in the FIRs registered in connection with the APIIC-Emaar land scam and Jagan’s alleged illegal wealth scam.
Apart from Hyderabad, the searches are also going on in Delhi and some other cities, according to sources. In Hyderabad, searches are being carried out in the Sakshi daily office and other premises of Jagan and others who have invested in the Jagan group.
Meanwhile, the officials of the Bharati Cements Ltd have appeared before the investigating teams at the CBI office and are being queried by the officials.
