Asking thousands of his supporters to carry out the fight against corruption with renewed vigour and enthusiasm, social activist Anna Hazare declared today that he wouldn’t leave the Ramlila Maidan till the Jan Lok Pal Bill is passed by the Parliament.
Observing that he lost 3 kg of weight after he began the fast in the Tihar jail, Anna said he was getting energy from his supporters across the country.
“I have full faith in my people. Indians will rest in peace only when corruption is removed from the country. We will not leave this place till Jan Lokpal Bill is passed,” he declared as his supporters cheered and waved the Indian flag and shouted slogans in his favour.
Anna Hazare addressed the crowd soon after reaching the Ramlila Maidan and as the clock tickled, the crowd swelled. Through out his journey from the Tihar Jail to the Ramlila grounds in an open top vehicle, thousands followed him.
