The cosmopolitan city of Hyderabad will witness its grandest ever wedding of the decade or perhaps of the century on June 11 when Mallika reddy, grand daughter of the industrialist GV Krishna Reddy will tie the nuptial knot with Sidharth reddy, son of another industrialist Indukuri Saym Prasad Reddy.

 

The GVK family spent a whopping Rs.2.5 Cr on wedding cards which were distributed through special couriers well ahead of the marriage. Specially made sweets accompanied the wedding cards each of which contained an exquisitely carved image of Lord Venkateshwara.

 

The Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony, to be hosted by bride’s maternal grandfather and the congress MP Dr T Subbarami Reddy, will witness a high profile and special Bharatanatyam performance by the veteran Hema Malini who will entertain the guests with her superb dancing skills.
The GVK group has arranged special chartered jets to bring the top Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan,

 

Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif and others to the marriage. The list of invitees include top Tollywood stars and country’s top industrialists Mukesh Ambani, ministers, MPs, chief ministers of several states and political leaders.

 

The guests are being accommodated in the Shamshabad Airport Arena, five-star Novotel Hotel, Hyderabad International Convention Centre and the Taj Falaknuma Palace. The tariff of the presidential suite in the Taj Falaknuma Palace is Rs 5 lakh per day.
