YSR congress president YS Jaganmohan reddy, who won the Kadapa Lok Sabha by poll with a record margin of more than 5 ,40,000 votes has been preparing to throw a googly by adopting a pro-Telangana stance.  

Media reports said that Jagan had ordered a survey in the Seema Andhra area to find out if his image would be adversely affected in case he supports the separate Telangana cause. Jagan was reportedly encouraged by the survey results which said his credibility would not take a beating in such a situation.

Supported by the survey findings, Jagan has been planning a series of public meetings in the Seema Andhra area soon to seek and influence the people’s opinions in favour of a peaceful separation of the state. After this exercise, he will publicly state his party’s policy on the demand for separate state of Telangana. Once he takes a pro-Telangana stand publicly, he will undertake a tour of the Telangana area.

T-Parties worried

Pro-Telangana parties and groups including the TRS and Telangana political JAC are now worried at the possible fall out of the pro-Telangana stand to be taken by Jagan. Once he takes a pro-T stand publicly and enters Telangana area, he is likely to attract the masses in the area strengthening his hold.

All reddy community people including the youth may run after him finding a solace in him leading to the erosion of TRS hold on the Telangana masses. This is likely to cause a severe blow to the dominance of the congress party too in the T area if all the reddy community people rally round him.
