Panchayat Raj Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said today that what is taken away by the former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan reddy from the congress through his resignation will be given by the mega star Chiranjeevi through the merger of his party PRP with the congress.

“It is true that congress had a set back and loss when Jagan resigned from the party but now that will be compensated up by the incoming mega star Chiranjeevi who has merged his PRP with congress,”  the minister told journalists in Vijayawada and added  that whatever is lost with Jagan has come back to congress with Chiru.

Botsa expressed the hope that the 18 per cent votes polled to PRP in the last elections will now be polled to congress in the next elections. Good things will happen to both the parties because of the merger, he said. “It may be true that there is some disappointment in both the parties over the merger but we will work together in close cooperation with each other strengthening the congress further,” he said.

Botsa came to Vijayawada to participate in the Rachchabanda programme at Singhnagar near the town.
