The congress party is planning for the big day to announce Telangana State.

The AICC President Sonia Gandhi will come to Andhra Pradesh as 'Creator of Telangana' and announce it formally as the party is making solid plans. The Gymkhana Grounds will be the venue where 5 lakh people are to gather to attend the meeting. The time will be somewhere around first week of February 2014.

All AICC officials, intelligence and also the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy were informed about the big event.  The Congress party wants to make it a historic event. The above information is received from the reliable sources in AICC who also expressed no threat with the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Congress party is not prepared to lose Telangana region after all the sacrifices it made in stubbornly facing the opposition on the state bifurcation. The congress party has lost 13 districts in Andhra Pradesh for the sake of 10 in Telangana.

Merging of TRS party is expected by the Congress party but the TRS is trying to mold the situation to its political gain as the indications seem at present.

As the 2014 polls are the immediate concern, the Congress party is not going leave any stone unturned to turn the political scenario to its favor. There may be a strategy to win the Seemandhra region also but first thing first. The plan to get some control over Seemandhra which might have already worked out will be taken up after Telangana issue settles down.
