DIY Wishesh: Make your own mega-clock

Do you want to have a big creative and beautiful wall clock but you are worried that they are not affordable? Worry not for we have the best ideas for you to use with regular house hold items.

Join us, to learn how to make your own clock, with some interesting pictures.

What you need

1) A wall
2) An old clock or a clock apparatus
3) Picture frames, 12 of them,
4) Nails
5) Glue
6) Tape
7) Pencil
8) Ruler
9) Hammer and other misc items

How to do:

  • Select a wall where you want the clock to be sitting. Bear in mind that the wall is plain and has no other embellishments since the clock itself will be one and by the sheer size of it, the others might rather be in other places.

  • Plan out the clock, the center, the place of the hours etc.

  • For the hours hand you will place different pictures that indicate the hour by the number, the activity of the hour or anything that represents the time specifically for you. (More on this later in the article)

  • Take the clock apparatus and stick over a minimally decorative piece of cardboard that goes with the wall of your choice.

  • Now after assembling the center of the clock, fix it using a nail hammered into the wall.

  • Place the photo frames or you can just glue the photos into the place where the hour goes.

  • Make sure that the hour hands are longer than usual so that they point at the hour as intended without confusion. Making the face of the clock smaller will also make the job easier.

Now, about the photos.

Choose the photos carefully as this is what makes the total clock creative. You can take pictures having different numbers of subjects such as one banana, two people, three towers etc and so on. Or you can stick to different foods with different numbers if you are looking at a theme for kitchen.

Another idea is that you can use a picture of bathing at 6 or 7 am whenever you generally bath, a breakfast picture for the time of breakfast, so on and so forth.

Go, create your own clock and show us how you did.
