MIM to contest Delhi Polls?

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen [AIMIM] is contemplating to contest the elections in the national capital, Delhi which are expected anytime in January or February. Unexpectedly, MIM stunned parties in Maharashtra by winning two segments and this confidence is making MIM to expand its wings. Meanwhile MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi. Has plans to establish party in the Delhi and said it is top priority.

Accordingly, MIM party is making efforts to bring popular leaders who are currently out of politics. Among them, the very popular Shoeb Iqbal is already in touch with MIM and has been active with the party activities. With the help of Iqbal, MIM wants to establish its base in Delhi however, the decision to contest in Delhi elections is yet to be decided.

This will be a major threat to AAP, BJP and Congress. MIM will definitely eye the Muslim vote bank while this could tough for AAP and Congress. AAP managed to win the Muslim votes in last elections but if at all MIM contests, then there would be split of votes. This will make BJP changes of forming government in Delhi more harder and again we might expect no party getting majority in the elections. The political scenario in Delhi will change remarkably post the elections.
