No Bikinis, No pubs: Goa Minister

When the crime against women in India is increasing each day, politicians are constantly making senseless, useless and irresponsible statements. Freshly a minister from Goa made marginally similar comments but defended himself smartly.

Sudin Dhavalikar, a senior minister in the Goa's BJP government said women should stop wearing bikinis in beaches "for their own safety", and pubs, drinking should not be allowed. When contacted about the explanation on the remarks, Sudin defended himself quite strong and added, “Pub culture and short dresses are not part of our culture. Drinking leads to a a law and order situation. Our sisters and daughters are getting spoilt. We have to stop it.”

Further Sudin said, Goa is a place of Churches and Temple, we don't want pub tourism.
