CBI says Aarushi's parents are murderers

The Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case had been going on since more than two years but it was not clear who was the real murderer until now. The CBI officer who compiled the final report in December 2010 recently said that the dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar mudered their own daughter and Hemraj. They later dressed up the scene and destroyed crucial parts of the evidence.

The CBI officer, A G L Kaul had the final report which had major circumstancial evidence against the parents.

On Tuesday he said, "Based on the investigation and circumstances, I have concluded that deceased have not been killed by any outsider, nor by Krishna, Rajkumar or Vijay Mandal (who were earlier accused of the crime). The murders have been committed by Dr Rajesh and Nupur Talwar,"

He said that the evidence though circumstancial was found to be against the parents. Crime scenes were dressed up, the bedsheet where Aarushi was found had no wrinkles, a book, “Three Mistakes of My Life” was also put on the bed and yet it contained no DNA or Fingerprints of Aarushi. Blood spurt from Aarushi's neck was nowhere to be found. Watermarks were formed on the Aarushi's bedsheets, just around the pelvic area. Hemraj's body was found on the terrace and the terrace was locked.

Two golf sticks in the house were found to be cleaner than the others indicating that they might have been used to kill the murder. Once they were sent to the CFSL, they confirmed that the injuries conformed to the golf clubs shapes.
