Was it really "No easy day?"

7/11 brings tremors and tears to millions around the world while there are a select few whose blood boils at the incident, with the determination to exterminate the ones responsible for one of the saddest moments in history. US NAVY SEALS. Enough said. The Seals are notorious for their skill and intelligence in covert operations like these, the retold stories of which could surge your adrenaline levels twice as high.

Mark Oven, a pseudonym for the a member of the fabled Seals of the US who were in the operation, had conjured a first hand information of the events on the day; May 1, 2011. The man behind the ghastly incidents of 7/11, Osama Bin Laden was one of the most feared men during his heydays. The Seals set out to the residence where Bin Laden was reportedly hiding his head in the wee hours. After reaching the spot in a helicopter the daring soldiers had alighted from the chopper with a rope and surrounded the house.

In the pitch black darkness, the soldier had an advantage with their state of the art night vision goggles. In the green vision, they scanned the area and found someone lying asleep. Making no delay, the Seals lodged a few bullets in the head through the window. This was Akbal al-Kuwaiti. His wife frantically tried to save him and lost her life while a few more bullets were sprayed by the US soldiers.

They could also spot a loaded AK-47 and they immediately with no hesitation shot a few rounds to his head and then to confirm that the terrorist died, they shot a few more bullets in the chest. It was Bin Laden but how were they sure? All they could see was a body lying in a pool of his own blood. One of the members of the team said, "I think that's our boy!". They took a few shots in different angles and collected blood samples.

They walked up to a few children near the incident and asked who it was. The innocent children replied "Osama". “Osama who?" "Osama Bin Laden" the children replied. They further confirmed the news with another woman who was supposedly Osama's wife. The sobbing woman in hushed tones replied Osama Bin Laden. The first sight of smiles appeared after 30 extremely long minutes.

However there are several questions raised by this Hollywood action thriller type book, a first hand account of the killing of Osama. Why could Osama not hear the whirring engine of the helicopter making rounds over his building? He could have easily escaped in the dark of the night with little efforts. The seals have shown no other proof but photos of the dead man. In today's modern days, how reliable are photographs? What was the need to kill even if the man was Osama himself? Reams of information could have been extracted if he had been arrested and interrogated. What was the need for the US government to dump the body in high seas? What happened to the DNA reports? What is the US hiding? Is he the real Osama or is this a political trick to gain favor of the people? We cannot know unless the US provides answers to a few of the questions.
