A teacher in the Government higher secondary school of Rajouri district had lost his cool in a class and kicked a kid in the stomach and was later booked for his offence. The 9th class student had reported severe abdominal pain after the injury inflicted by the teacher in a fit of rage.

The teacher is not arrested yet. The boy was taken to a hospital immediately which said that the boy sustained injured kidney.

The teacher had kicked the boy after he had quarreled with some boys after which he complained of abdominal pain. It was also known that he fell to the ground unconscious after the injury and was then rushed to the hospital.

At the hospital, the officials said that one of his kidneys was injured and said that the beating could have been the reason of the injury. The boy was also asked to rest for 6 months.

Meanwhile the school had suspended the teacher until further investigation but they also said that the incident could have been an accident.
