Al Qaeda planned to hijack ships & post footage of execution of passengers?

Although Al Qaeda chief Bin Laden was killed in a CIA operation, his ideas are still posing threat to the world. When CNN obtained one of the porn videos that contained crucial documents embedded, it has sent shockwaves among the several people across the globe.  The intelligence officials have termed the tapes as pure gold.

The issue of 141 documents has now become a topic of town. Did Al Qaeda plan to hijack cruise ships and post the footage of passengers being killed? Yes, say the cracked documents. Al Qaeda reportedly wanted to pressurize governments for the release of some of their followers who had been imprisoned.

The documents were discovered on the memory disc when Austrian 22-year-old Maqsood Lodin was returning to Germany from Pakistan. He was arrested and interrogated and the German investigators discovered a memory disc in his underpants. In the memory disc contained two porn videos and between the videos were some key documents of Al Qaeda. In fact, it took couple of weeks for the investigators to decrypt the file.

Besides revealing the operative plans of 9/11, the documents have also contained the inner working of Al Qaeda. CNN has reported that documents also revelead the plans of Al Qaeda and the network wanted to conduct Mumbai style attacks.

Obtaining of these files were certainly one of the biggest achievements of German investigators. All the intelligence departments in several countries are now aware of plans of Al Qaeda and this would apparently make the governments take possible steps and put an end to terror attacks. (Phani)
