Saala Khadoos Analysis

Saala Khadoos Movie Review and Ratings

More than the content, it is the narration process, that ranks more in Saala Khadoos. The stylish makeover of Madhavan is a show stealer for sure. The songs are added just to meet the commercial aspect, but nothing. The rest other aspects are well managed, with the intelligent and gripping screenplay.

The curiosity raised at the end of the first half, goes just after the few minutes of the second half beginning. There are several unwanted episodes, that deviated the main plot. Just like the songs, even the romantic songs are forcefully placed.

But the movie catches the required pace at the pre-climax. Though the climax is predictable, the way it was shot, attracts many. On the whole, the first half ranks more than the second half of Saala Khadoos.

Performance

After receiving several criticisms for neglecting his physique, Madhavan finally took those criticisms as suggestions and came back with a good physique, along with the stylish makeover. His ruggish performance surely attracts many, watching a different Madhavan, for the first time.

Ritika Singh perfectly suits the character Madhi. Her presence appears lively. All the other actors have been decent with their assignments. Though the story is predictable, the screenplay work is brilliant. Except for a few of the illogical scenes in the scenes in the second half and songs, most of the scenes are well narrated.

The background music has been suitable, but the songs act like barriers throughout,  except one song that reveals Madhi’s makeover. The cinematography is the major highlight and the movie looks realistic because of the excellent work by the cinematographer. The production values have been rich and the director failed to take the film to the next level because of some flaws in the second half of the film.

Saala Khadoos Final Word

Madhavan and Ritika’s stylish performance and the catchy screenplay, makes Saala Khadoos a cool entertainer, one can pick to watch in this cool season.
