Killing Veerappan Story

Based on the real life story of a cold blooded criminal and smuggler Veerappan, because of whom, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka police spent several sleepless nights, for over 20 years, Killing Veerppan movie was made.

The Special Task Force (STF) officials decide to hunt Veerappan, in the name of ‘Operation Cocoon’. The several strategies, the officials plays to catch hold of Veerappan, will form the basic theme of ‘Killing Veerappan’ movie.

Right from the first frame, RGV’s identity can be felt in his narration, which is fantastic. There are several scenes, which give goosebumps and edge of the seat experience. The complete film has been shot in dense forest which elevated the film well.

Even the second half was not a disappointment. There are several interesting episodes, to keep the audience engaged. Though the movie dipped down at times, it catches pace at the much needed time, during the pre-climax. The climax has been shot extremely well, to end the film on an impressive note. 

Performance

No doubt, Kannada Superstar Shivrajkumar is the major highlight of the movie. His performance as a cop, specially in the action episodes, is at the peaks. Sandeep Bharadwaj, a well-known drama artist showcased the emotions perfectly. He has been stupendous as Veerappan in the movie and is the also another major highlight of Killing Veerappan. All the other actors have given their best for the film. 

As the story is based on the real life character, utmost care was taken, so that, no controversies take place, after the release. The screenplay and the dialgoues have been gripping enough. 

The cinematography and the background score are the major highlights of the movie. The editing has been nitchy and even the production values are grand. After Raktha Charitra, Ram Gopal Varma completely succeeded in bringing out an intensive thriller, in the form of Killing Veerappan.

Killing Veerappan Final Word

‘Killing Veerappan’ would be the most ‘Willing Veerappan’, as thriller audience would not miss to watch this movie.
