Shaandaar Analysis

Shaandaar Movie Review and Ratings

The first half of the movie starts with the narration about the characters. The entertainment has been managed well throughout the film and the dialogues have been short and good enough. On the whole the complete first half of the movie has been filled with fun.

The second half of the movie lacks pace when compared to the first half of the movie. The relation between Alia and Shahid Kapoor has not been explained well and it was not that convincing. However the climax has been appealing which brings a good impact on the movie. On the whole the second half has been decent.

Performance

Shahid Kapoor has been stupendous and this is the way audience wants him to see exactly. He has been exceptional during the entertainment episodes. Alia Bhatt who proved herself has done one more challenging role in the movie and the chemistry between Shahid and Alia will leave everyone in surprise. Pankaj Kapoor is an added asset for the movie and he performed the character of Bipin with ease. All the other actors excelled in their assigned roles.

The story of the movie is nothing new but thin and interesting. The screenplay and the dialogues have been taken enough care. The narration has been straight and crisp throughout. The music and the background score have been apt. The cinematographer should be well appreciated for showing every rupee spent on screen. The wedding episodes have been excellent. The production values have been grand enough and Vikas Bahl made sure that the movie will be short and entertaining.

Shaandaar Final Word

Shaandaar is a film that is worth watching for the sizzling chemistry between Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. A decent youthful entertainer.
