Analysis

Gopala Gopala Movie Review

Though it is a remake film, the director did not rip off of the script as it is ease. To suit the Telugu audiences ample of changes are made in ‘Gopala Gopala.’ Pawan Kalyan screen presence has been increased while Shriya Saran has nothing to do with the film. Venkatesh takes over the first half while Pawan Kalyan carries the rest on his shoulders. The movie lacks pace throughout its run but sends a message to the audience.

Few scenes have been filmed well. The hospital episode, Pawan explaining the Dharma and climax are executed well. The film ends on a good note.

Performance

We hardly get chance to see Pawan Kalyan in the role of God and finally here is it. Pawan fits the role perfectly and does well. Though he enters just before the interval, he completely dominates in the second half. His dialogues were written and even delivered decently. Venkatesh is excellent in his role. As an atheist, Venky steals the show and his scenes with Pawan, came out really well.

Shriya Saran is wasted while Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborthy has no prominence. Posani provides few laughs. His role as Swamji is hilarious.

Final Word

Gopala Gopala is straight and thought provoking film. Bored of commercial films, then go for it.
