Jai Ho review

Story :

‘Jai Ho’ is the story of honest ex-army officer Jai Agnihotri (Salman Khan), who fights for justice and honesty. Jai, who battles corruption and injustice prevailing in the society, firmly believes that one does not have to wear a uniform to serve his or her country. Jai, nevertheless, has to face a lot of troubles in his mission. He faces the anger of local powerful politician (Danny Denzongpa) who is miffed by his noble move. When Jai is attacked by few hooligans of the politician, his elder sister Geeta (Tabu) realizes that Jai’s spirit might land his family into severe trouble. She somehow convinces Jai to enter into a compromise with the politician.

Jai loses his control and starts a battle against the evil politician when the latter tries to target his family. This goes personal; Jai loses his cool and rises above to save his family. While everyone is wondering how Jai, a single man, will fight against the powerful politician, a miracle happens. Unknown to him, a silent revolution begins in the society. The voiceless public, he has helped in the past, is gathering force and finally has a voice which cannot be silenced.

Analysis :

Jai Ho

If you are a critic of serious classic movies, ‘Jai Ho’ may not be your cup of tea as it is loaded with the special touch of Salman Khan. Even though’ Jai Ho’ doesn’t have anything unique, it relates very well with the current social scenario of India. It seems that ‘Jai Ho’ is truly Salman’s style movie loaded with some bone crunching, face smashing action sequences where director Sohail Khan has not got much scope to show his creativity otherwise essentiality. The Dabangg’ star’s ‘Aam Aadmi’ avatar will certainly be an icing on the cake for his well-wishers and fans.

Performance :

Jai Ho-review

When the messiah of box office is in the movie, it is genuine fact that director Sohail Khan must have not put in a lot of efforts. While Salman is superb in the action sequences, Tabu and Santosh Shukla also do their part with much self-confidence. Other actors such as Suniel Shetty, Ashmit Patel, Yash Tonk, Bruna Abdullah and Sana Khan are equally good in their roles. Subsequent to a long time, Danny has done a brilliant job as a villain. Even though there is nothing much to do for debutant Daisy Shah, her chemistry with Salman Khan looks fresh. Sajid-Wajid’s music adds charm to the movie. The song ‘Apna Kaam Banta Bhaad Mein Jaaye Jantaa’ has garnered attention. The background score by Sandeep Shirodkar is brilliant.

Final Word:Undoubtedly, a typical Salman Khan film. I would like to go with a 3.5 star. You must not miss it as you are surely gonna have a great time with this Bollywood action drama!
