Film: Delhi Belly 

Much Awaited Movie of B – Town, ‘Delhi Belly, was the talk of town, right from the trailers were out. Let it could be the lyrics of the songs, the characterizations projected, or the pre hype by the film makers, catering the film under the ‘Adult Comedy’, Jorner. With all this Hype, ‘Delhi Belly’, released today, managed to retain its charm in the audience. Though the film has the ‘Comic’ factor, throughout the film, the Story and Screenplay are the other highlights that make the film, outstanding. Here is the review for you;

Story:

The Story revolves around three major characters, Tashi (Imran Khan), Arup (Vir Das) and Nitin (Kunal Roy Kapoor), who are roommates, and have their own set of things to be addressed in their life. Tashi is all prepared to get married to his Girl Friend Sonia (Shenaz), Arup experiences the sorrow of getting dumped by his Girl Friend, and suffers from the annoying Boss and Nitin experiences the weirdest situation of his lifetime. The problem that Nitin faces makes his friends Tashi and Arup, involved, and from then the Story takes a twist, that has to be visualized on – screen.

Analysis:

The Story and Screenplay steal the audience attention in the film. The film has concentrated on such a jorner (comic) that is very difficult to connect the chain and relate the same to the film. All the Characters did their best of the performance that is definitely the attractive factor. Imran and Vir, will definitely be appreciated for their acting skills but, Kunal was the eye catching performer. The timing between all the three Actors seems to be perfect. The songs, and lyrical scores are other highlight. Not to forget the efforts made by Director of the film, Abhinay Deo, who despite being a debutant has given his best to make this film a Success.

Technicalities:

Amir Khan, featuring in an Item Number, is one of the major highlights of this film. All the other wacky numbers such as Bhag Bhag DK Bose, Switty, Love you like I have you, Jaa Chudail, are hilarious, as per the Lyrics and on screen appearance. The editing part was amazing as it helped in connecting each sequences very well. The Cinematography was very rich and feast to the eyes. It is the film that you can sit out and enjoy each and every shot.

Final Word: ‘Delhi Belly’, a ‘Bindas’, film.
